Siri was revealed at Apple’s Let’s Talk iphone event at the company’s own school in Cupertino, California as one of iphone 4S’ major new features. It is a personal assistant that enables you to perform a range of tasks on your iphone 4S – such as settings alarms/reminders/calendar events, texting/emailing/calling someone, asking for definitions, directions (and more) – utilizing your voice alone.
The news comes directly from the designer Sonny Dickson in a tweet sent out from his Twitter account a few hours back in which he announces Siri for iPad 2. The tweet includes a picture (which we’ve published below) which shows settings > general > Siri.

While Dickson hasn’t explained the specify of Siri for iPad 2 port, we believe it can’t take input either. There will, hopefully, be a workaround for this in the future.
